Research-Preliminary Task-Front Page Analysis

These three following annotated images are analysis' of school magazine front covers I have researched. The magazines used are professional school magazines, Prep School, FFH and Academy. Each Front cover illustrated individual personalities, some more effective than others. Bellow are my analysed front covers.

Through the analysis of these front covers I have gained a clearer idea of what I wish my front cover to be like. From doing this I am now capable of creating Front Cover drafts, including similar connotations through the dennotations in the above front covers. I am going to use colour schemes, that match the instiution that mine is based on, this being music. Also just like these front covers, my title is going to contain alot of uplifting images of people performing and smiling, this being an iconic conventionuse throughout a wide range of magazines, not just these ones.
